The World Peace Yoga Teacher Training programs qualify you to teach in the U.S. and all over the world as a Certified Yoga Teacher or CYT.

Yoga Teacher Training: Part I

Get Rooted

In Part I you ground, you get rooted, and you establish a daily personal practice while being introduced to the depth behind the poses, the philosophy of the practice, and the mindfulness of how we live in each moment.

Upon completion of this program, you receive a 300-hour yoga certification (CYT).

The Heart and Soul of Part I:

  • Multiple Styles of Hatha Yoga with a focus on Yoga Basics (teaching beginners and working with a variety of bodies)
  • Intro to Vinyasa Yoga and Yin-Restorative Yoga
  • Effective posture demos, use of props, posture assists, and making postures accessible to all body types
  • Intro to and Practice of Meditation and Breathwork
  • Intro to Anatomy and Physiology
  • Intro to Subtle Anatomy and Chakras
  • Understanding Yin and Yang Concepts
  • Intro to Specialty Topics // prenatal yoga, chair yoga, kids yoga, and more
  • Intro to Yoga Philosophy, Eight Limbs of Yoga, and Practices to Decolonize Yoga
  • Incorporating Yogic Lifestyle and Values Into Daily Life
  • Intro to Plant-Sourced Vegan Living
  • Yoga as a Business, Bringing Yoga Into Your Work Ethic

Personal Spiritual Growth Track: Part I

Ground

Are you interested in deepening your life experience and understanding the bigger picture of why you are here and what your purpose is, so you may share your unique gifts and talents with the world? Are you ready to make the shift from a human doing to a human be-ing? A spiritual training such as this may acutely deepen or awaken ones own spiritual practice, enhance a chosen career path or inspire to intuitively discover ones passion and purpose in life; applying the practices of yoga in any endeavor one may choose.

Yoga Teacher Training: Part II

Go Deeper

In Part II you lift off, you go deeper, and you integrate the yogic teachings into your life and as themes in your classes in a holistic way. Some may think of it as “advanced training,” but in reality Part II is simply what we believe is necessary to have a whole and integrative training experience so that you may better serve yourself, your family, your friends, your students, and your community.  Think of it as life study, and, whether you feel ready for it or not, there is no time like the present to take your life and your teaching to a deeper and more informed understanding and awareness.  

Upon completion of this program, you receive a 300-hour yoga certification (CYT). Combined with Part I, you receive a 600-hour yoga certification (CYT).

 

This Heart and Soul of Part II:

  • Refine and deepen your daily yoga practice with continuity and sustainability plus practical tips on balancing teaching and personal practice while avoiding “burnout”
  • Refine and deepen your teaching of postures, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy; i.e. voice, cues, and intentional language use
  • Beginner’s Mind in Relationship to Postures: Basics is Advanced
  • Practice and Teaching of Low, Medium, and High Intensity Vinyasa Yoga 
  • Practice and Teaching of Yin-Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra
  • Posture Succession Sequencing based on the Chakras
  • Have fun. Create intrinsic themes for classes with inspiring tools such as music playlists, poetry, and affirmations
  • Guided Class Instruction, Posture Assists, and Teaching Methodology
  • Learn how to create, facilitate, and promote workshops 
  • Anatomy and Physiology, as it relates to posture and breath, proactive care, functional movements, injuries, and aligning specific body parts
  • Subtle Body, Yoga as an Energetic Practice
  • Healing Modalities: Why Yoga is Therapeutic
  • Yoga philosophy as it relates to liberation and decolonizing yoga
  • Refine and deepen your understanding of spiritual nutrition/food and plant-sourced living
  • Be in a consistent structured community (satsang) immersion, one the most important aspects of yoga today  
  • Connect with fabulous teachers that offer a variety of perspectives
