Weekly Classes

Low Intensity Classes

Yoga Basics (beginner, low intensity):  Recommended for newbies! Learn foundational yoga postures practiced in a yoga-asana (posture) sequence.  A wonderful class for those new to yoga and recommended for more experienced yogis who might like to enhance their body awareness and start fresh with a beginner’s mind.  Each practice includes a variety of postures and a different posture theme. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with movements, props, and cues for EVERY body. 

Yin-Restorative Yoga (beginner, low intensity/all levels):  A more relaxed yoga practice consisting of floor postures held for three to five minutes. A Yin practice emphasizes the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine.  Our yin yoga classes also include restorative poses and deep relaxation. 

 

Low to High Intensity Classes

Vinyasa Yoga (low-medium intensity/all levels):  vi – order; nyasa – to place, placement: the conscious order and placement of the body with three main components:  intention + breath + movement/flow. This class is an introduction to vinyasa. Wonderful for those new to flowing from one pose to the next. Sun salutations, inversions, forward bends, back bends, twists and standing postures among other positions will be practiced in this peaceflow.

Vinyasa Yoga (medium-high intensity):  A more physically challenging vinyasa practice with a balanced stream of postures that build empowerment and strength. An energetic and active practice that encourages balance, concentration, meditation and relaxation through continual movement…get into the peaceflow.

Vin to Yin (low-medium intensity/all levels): This class is a combination of  Vinyasa Yoga and Yin-Restorative Yoga.

All of our classes are offered Eastern Standard/Daylight Time (EST/EDT).

Studio hours are based on weekly class schedule times.
