My journey with yoga began when I was a ballet dancer, seeking a practice that embraced individuality, nurtured my needs, and helped me to let go of the idea of any need for perfection. It was love at first “OM”! After years of on-and-off practice, I truly delved into a dedicated practice during the pandemic, which is when my life began to bloom.
The philosophy of yoga resonates deeply with me, particularly its incredible benefits for mental/emotional/spiritual wellbeing and physical pain relief, which helped lead to my decision to become a teacher. I completed my Foundational Yoga Teacher Training with World Peace Yoga and I am beyond grateful to be continuing my growth with the Advanced Teacher Training program!
When you step into my class, prepare to be embraced in a warm and inclusive environment. All are welcome! I believe in inviting you to honor what your unique body is asking for. It’s not about comparing yourself to others; it’s about discovering your own journey. Throughout the class, I’ll guide you through different poses, weaving in moments to connect with your breath and provide a safe space for you to process what’s happening in your mind, body, and spirit.
Alongside other practices, I love to incorporate a deeply relaxing savasana to help you connect with your inner self and find peace in the present moment. But yoga doesn’t stop on the mat! I hope to inspire self-care and mindfulness in your everyday life. I encourage you to check in with yourself, listen to your intuition, and make conscious choices that nourish your body, mind, and soul.
