Brian Michalka’s journey into yoga began unexpectedly when a friend encouraged him to attend a community asana class. That single hour of focused movement, breathwork, and mental clarity sparked a profound shift. He returned the following week, and before long, yoga became a regular and essential part of his life.

In 2025, Brian completed his Foundational Yoga Teacher Training at World Peace Yoga and is currently pursuing Advanced Teacher Training to deepen his practice and expand his ability to serve others through teaching.

 

Outside the studio, Brian is an engineer who manages a manufacturing plant. Navigating the fast-paced and demanding corporate world, he has found that a consistent yoga practice helps him stay grounded, focused, and balanced. For Brian, yoga is more than physical movement—it’s a way of being that informs how he leads, communicates, and approaches challenges.

He is passionate about applying yoga philosophy beyond the mat and into everyday life. Whether in the workplace, in relationships, or within the community, Brian believes that mindfulness, empathy, compassion, and intentional living are essential ways to live. His teaching style reflects this belief, offering a thoughtful blend of mental clarity, physical strength, and restorative calm.

Brian’s classes are designed to support students at all levels, creating a welcoming space where individuals can connect with themselves, build resilience, and experience the benefits of yoga in their daily lives.
