Key points to consider with assists:

  • gain consent
  • ground the practitioner
  • identify what alignment to assist with or prop to offer
  • position your body to give the assist considering integrity of your personal alignment  
  • connect your breathing with the practitioner’s
  • gently leave the practitioner without disturbing their balance
